The Role:

We're on the lookout for a a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist with a focus on IT and technical recruitment. This role involves managing the recruitment life cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and hiring top talent. The ideal candidate will have proven experience recruiting IT professionals, including software developers, software testers, scrum masters, etc. Also, s/he should have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of recruitment strategies, and the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from crafting job advertisements to onboarding top talent.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to identify and engage candidates across various channels, including LinkedIn, emails, calls and recruitment platforms.
  • Screen resumes, conduct thorough phone interviews to assess candidates’ alignment with Sandstone Values and role- specific requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate candidate records
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide recommendations for recruitment solutions
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through effective communication and feedback
  • Participate in any networking events to attract top talent.
  • Stay updated on recruitment trends and best practices.
  • Conduct job offer negotiations and manage pre-boarding activities, including background verification checks.
  • Oversee new hire onboarding tasks, including gathering required documents, raising onboarding tickets and conducting orientation sessions
  • Generate and maintain reports on recruitment activities, providing weekly updates to the Hiring Manager
  • Create hiring requisitions, track their progress, and maintain an up-to-date requisition tracker.

About you:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment or Talent Acquisition
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as Talent Acquisition Specialist or another recruiting-related role
  • Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
  • Knowledge of technical roles, skill sets, and industry trends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Problem-solving ability
